MA Voice Pedagogy Alumni Published In The Journal of Popular Music Education

We’d like to congratulate MA Voice Pedagogy Alumni, Jo Sear, for being accepted for publication in the Journal of Popular Music Education!

The article will be published in early 2023 and details Jo’s final dissertation project for the MA course last year: The design of a curriculum outline for training Popular Music singing teachers.

A list of potential topics was gleaned from a comprehensive literature review, a draft curriculum outline developed and its contents reviewed by a focus group of international voice pedagogues.

Jo hopes to continue her research into finalising this as part of a PhD in the near future.
