MA Voice Pedagogy Student To Present At PAVA Symposium

We’d like to wish a huge congratulations to MA student Fernando Zimmermann, who will be presenting at the Pan American Vocology Association‘s Hybrid Symposium this week!
Fernando will be presenting ‘Can A Self-Talk Instructional Aid Assist in the Development of Singing Student Self-Efficacy?’.
 
The aim of this study was to verify if there were changes on perceived self–efficacy after using the instructional self–talk – named Internal Command (IC) in this study – protocol.

For harmonica performer and music educator Shima Melvin, this question became the starting point for her postgraduate research with the Voice Study Centre.
