Dr. Sofia Holmqvist-Jämsén

Dr. Sofia Holmqvist-Jämsén is a Speech-Language Pathologist and university lecturer at the Department of Speech-Language Pathology at the Medical Faculty of the University of Helsinki, Finland. She is also a postdoctoral researcher, having earned her PhD in the area of stress and voice, with a particular focus on genetic and hormonal effects.

Her research includes publications on voice ergonomic risk factors, the vocal health of teachers, and screening methods for identifying voice problems. Dr. Holmqvist-Jämsén's work is recognized for its practical applications in preventing and managing voice disorders across various professional domains.
