VSC Alumnus Jenna Brown offered a studentship from the ESRC!

Monday 3rd June 2024

We’re delighted to hear that our Alumnus Jenna Brown has accepted an offer of a studentship from the ESRC (Economic and Social Research Council) for her PHD studies.

Jenna’s research has already begun at IOE, UCL’s Faculty of Education and Society and from October will be sponsored by the ESRC and UBEL-DTP (UCL, Bloomsbury and East London Doctoral Training Partnership).

Jenna expressed her gratitude to those who have supported her work so far, including our very own Debbie Winter:

“Thank you so much for your mentoring and tutoring on the MA and for your references. It is all much appreciated and I am really excited to see where this all leads.” - (Jenna to Debbie).

Congratulations Jenna, we look forward to staying up to date with you throughout this exciting journey!

Jenna has authored over 20 peer reviewed publications and conference proceedings, with recent publications on voice and choral pedagogy in the Journal of Voice, The Voice and Speech Review and Australian Voice.
