Chris Harbeson-Borgelt

Chris Harbeson-Borgelt is a sought-after pianist, vocalist, organist, and teacher in the Greater Louisville area. Recognized for his dynamic playing and strong collaborative skills, he is frequently asked to perform both solo and collaboratively in recitals and concerts.

His private teaching studio, Two Grand Studio, offers high-quality private instruction in piano, voice, and guitar. With multiple instructors and over one hundred lessons taught each week, his students consistently receive top scores in competitions, acceptance into music schools, and roles in academic and professional theatre companies.

In addition to his private teaching, he also works with New Albany High School’s Theatre Arts program, music directing and conducting two musicals each school year. He is also on staff at the University of Louisville as a staff accompanist for voice students and instrumentalists in the School of Music. He has obtained BA degrees in French and Music from the University of Louisville and a Trauma-Informed Voice Professional Certificate from the Voice Study Centre.

 

Chris earned his Trauma-Informed Voice Professional Certificate with Dr Elisa Monti in 2024.
