About The Scheme

Elevate Your Standing: Introducing the Professional Development Associate & Fellow Scheme

At the Voice Study Centre, we specialize in providing high-quality, accessible online education. As a practitioner-research centre, our passion is bringing cutting-edge practitioners and world-class researchers directly into your living room. We are excited to continue pushing the boundaries of both professional practice and vocal research.

As a dedicated professional and lifelong learner, you regularly invest in your growth through our courses. To formally recognize that commitment, we are thrilled to introduce our new Professional Development Associate and Fellow Scheme.

Why choose the Professional Development Associate and Fellow Scheme?

We want to honour the extensive learning you are already undertaking and award you the status of either an Associate or a Fellow to showcase your active expertise in the industry.

To achieve your status and earn your place on our official public registry of Associates and Fellows, we invite you to evidence your learning. Because we value real-world application over rigid exams, you will demonstrate your growth through a reflective portfolio or a short video diary.

As we roll out this exciting new pathway, your recent and upcoming studies fit perfectly into the timeline:

  • Have you purchased courses over the last year? You are welcome to submit your portfolio as soon as you have reviewed our portfolio criteria.
  • Looking ahead at your annual professional goals? You can maximize your study time and bundle your learning by choosing one of our curated course packages.

To keep our global directory trusted and active, learning must be completed within a 12-month window and refreshed annually.

Portfolio Assessment & Listing Fee: £250

How to Apply

Reflection & Application Requirement

To maintain the high standards and professional integrity of the Voice Study Centre CPD Award Scheme, certificates are not just based on attendance alone. We ask all eligible participants to reflect on how their learning has shaped their practice.

Once you have completed the required number of hours (30 hours for Associate or 60 hours for Fellow), you will be invited to submit a short reflective essay.

Submission Guidelines:

  • Focus: A professional reflection detailing what you have learnt from the specific Voice Study Centre courses and events you attended, and how you have applied (or intend to apply) this knowledge to your professional practice, teaching, or research.
  • Format: Submissions should be written in a professional, reflective tone.

Alternatively, you can submit a short video presentation that encompasses the above.

Please take a look at our worked example that will give you an idea as to what is required.

This reflective element ensures that your award represents a meaningful, active engagement with the material and provides tangible evidence of your ongoing professional development to clients, students, and professional bodies.

Ready to Submit? Please email your portfolio to info@voicestudycentre.com. We will assess your submission and let you know the outcome!
