Darren trained at Italia Conti Academy, East 15 Acting School and the University of West London where he achieved his Masters degree in music.

Musical Director credits include: Aladdin (Landmark Theatres); MSC Cruises (Bor Productions); Cinderella & Sleeping Beauty (Trinity Theatre); Madagascar the Musical (UK & International Tour); Pop Factor: The Live Concert (UK Tour); High School Rocks (UK Tour); and Nickelodeon’s sitcom Genie In The House. Darren is also musical supervisor for Michael Quinn Productions overseeing world wide acts such as ‘The Rollerboys’ and ‘The Jersey Quartet’.

Darren is passionate about the voice. He is a qualified Vocal Health First Aider, has completed his Advanced Professional Diploma in teaching contemporary singing through The Voice College, and teaches at institutions including Miskin Theatre Arts and Trinity Laban Conservatoire.
