Elisabeth Haist is a mother of four and has worked as a singer and performer since childhood. She has founded, led and conducted multiple choirs in Germany and the USA, as well as training choirs and individuals all over Europe.
While she mainly focuses on African-American Gospel singing style, she‘s fascinated by all other vocal styles, especially in an ethnomusicological aspect. Her prior academic research has looked into the influence of the African-American Vocal Ideal on modern singing styles and its implications for teaching children and adolescents.
She currently holds a position as a music educator for young children and stages music theatre productions in her community.
