Ruth Tickle

Ruth has over 20 years experience in teaching Singing to young people. She has taught across Cheshire and the Wirral and now on the Isle of Man where she lives with her husband, 2 boys and 2 poodles.

Ruth began her formal music training at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama from where she graduated with a BA Hons degree in Music majoring in Vocal Studies.

Ruth loves to perform as a solo soprano and in a local quartet ‘The Shimmers’. Over the years she has had the pleasure of singing as part of the world famous Halle Choir and Orchestra, and has participated in many solo recitals and concerts including performances for HRH the King and Queen of Norway and most recently Princess Ann.

Ruth has a particular interest in Adolescent voices as this age group makes up the majority of her singing students and she is currently a student on the MA in Voice Pedagogy with Voice Study Centre and the University of Wales Trinity St David.
