Diarm Scahill, a mathematical science graduate, is a London-based CCM singing teacher working across musical theatre, the West End, and the wider music industry. His clients include leading performers, recording artists, and BAFTA winners. He is currently in his sixth year teaching at ArtsEd.

After studying mathematical science at NUIG, Diarm completed his professional training at ArtsEd and worked as a performer before undertaking postgraduate studies in voice pedagogy at the Voice Study Centre. His teaching is informed by ongoing specialist training, including the Summer Vocology Institute with Ingo Titze, Marco Guzman, and Kittie Verdolini Abbott, and completion of all three levels of Somatic Voicework™ The LoVetri Method with Jeanie LoVetri at Baldwin Wallace University, Ohio.

He is a regular observer at leading London voice clinics and works in collaboration with, and under the supervision of, some of the country’s most respected speech and language therapists and vocal rehabilitation coaches. He also works closely with physiotherapists and other health professionals to safeguard and optimise the performance health of elite artists at an international level.
