Marco Morbidelli holds a master’s degree in voice studies from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and works at Mountview as Course Leader for the BA Performance programme (Acting, Actor Musicianship and Musical Theatre pathways) as well as Joint Head of Singing. Prior to Mountview, he has taught voice and singing in a number of London conservatoires and drama schools, including The Royal Academy of Music and The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.

Marco is currently a PhD candidate within the Music Psychology department at the University of Sheffield, investigating technical and psychological difficulties experienced by musical theatre students and early graduates in combining acting with speaking and singing voice technique in training and performance.  Within his research, Marco explores the concept of authenticity as a means of explaining these difficulties but also as a possible way to overcome them by implementing a new and revised practical approach.
