Maria Apell is a singing- and stage production teacher at Lunds dans- och musikalgymnasium (16-19-year-old students) in Sweden. The school specializes in musical theatre and all of the vocal-genre it contains.
Maria is an alumnus of Malmö Academy of Music and has a degree in Fine Arts and teaching music and singing. She now has thirty years of experience teaching, and works at Malmö Academy of Music part time tutoring singing teacher-students. She occasionally preforms professionally as a jazz-singer in bands or big bands, mostly for fun.
Maria also works as a vocal coach in professional musical theatre productions and has a special interest in combining singing and dancing/stageing in a way that is healthy for the voice, body and mind.
