Tobyn Bell is a psychotherapist, researcher, lecturer and Chairwork practitioner. He has worked within mental health settings for for over 15 years, including NHS and private organisations.

Tobyn is the co-author of Compassion Focused Therapy from the Inside Out: A Self-practice/Self-reflection Workbook for Therapists and a member of the training executive for the Compassionate Mind Foundation. He works as lecturer and operational lead at the University of Manchester, as well providing national and international training and supervision in Chairwork and psychotherapy.
