Louisa is a lecturer, researcher, singing teacher and audition coach. In addition to lecturing with the Voice Study Centre, she teaches technical singing to MA and MFA Musical Theatre students at the Guildford School of Acting (GSA).

Louisa has also previously taught Musical Theatre students at Italia Conti in Surrey and Acting students at the Cygnet Training Theatre in Devon, where she taught spoken voice, accents and singing. She is also Editor for the Association of Teachers of Singing (AOTOS). Louisa is currently a PhD student with GSA at Surrey University, with a focus on Acting Through Song. Research interests include emotion in the speaking and singing voice and actor training pedagogy. She holds an MA in Voice Pedagogy, a diploma in Acting with Directing, and a BA (Hons) in English and Literary Studies. Louisa is also a registered Vocal Process accredited teacher working with Dr Gillyanne Kayes and Jeremy Fisher. She will be presenting a workshop at this year’s PEVoC in Santander.
