Overview
This 12-week applied voice pedagogy programme builds on prior knowledge in voice science, therapy, or performance, and invites learners to articulate their unique professional identities within the broader voice pedagogy landscape. Key focuses include pedagogical philosophy, praxis, the application of evidence-based work in the studio and rehearsal room, and evaluation of voice.
Course Tutor: Adam Roberts
Students should plan to dedicate approximately 2-3 hours per week outside of class to complete weekly assignments, and an additional 10 hours total throughout the course for work on capstone prohects. Classes may be attended live on Mondays, or via recording catch-up.
This course is fully accredited by The Institute of Training and Occupational Learning (ITOL).
Following successful completion of the course and a comprehensive examination, you will receive an official ITOL-accredited Certificate in Applied Voice Pedagogy, a badge for your website/social media and a profile on our student page.
