This course covers essential topics such as articulatory, acoustic, and auditory phonetics, the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA), and ethical approaches to accent and dialect coaching. For those looking to delve deeper into accent coaching, we also offer an advanced course. This course covers many additional considerations such as working with EAL (English as an Additional Language) learners and coaching neurodiverse performers, learning from different experts from across the related fields.

Assessment
The course culminates in a short assessment required for ITOL Certification. You will complete a multiple-choice quiz on phonetics and develop a lesson plan demonstrating your understanding of the course content.
