We are an Independent Research Organisation (IRO) focused on practitioner research in voice, music, and performance.

As an Associate College of the University of Essex, we share their research goals and vision.

  • Our services include access to an independent Research Ethics Committee and workshops on voice topics and research methods.
  • We supervise qualified independent researchers in developing practice-relevant research projects.
  • In partnership with the University of Essex, we collaborate on research projects and facilitate impact.

We also support researchers through our VSC Independent Researcher scheme.
