An Exploration of Mixing

Thursday 11th January 2024, 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM (London Time)

The blending of registers can allow a seamless transition across the vocal range; it can bring richness and power into the upper range, resulting in an even, balanced tone. By exploring resonance strategies and optimum laryngeal flexibility, singers can develop the skills necessary to move not only between registers, but between genres with confidence and ease.

Following on from the success of the 'An Exploration of Belting' workshop in August 2023, this class will explore mixing from various viewpoints, taking into account both scientific and functional perspectives.

Expect to leave with a deeper understanding of mixing, including new exercises and approaches.
