An Introduction to VoceVista
Tuesday 21st May 2024, 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM (London Time)
If you want to use VoceVista software (https://www.sygyt.com/en/products/) but are struggling with how to get started, this introductory session will get you oriented and ready to go!
We will cover how to use the programme to visualise various aspects of the singing voice in real time. We will listen to sound samples and explore how to how to analyse lesson, rehearsal, practice, or performance recordings.
This will be a judgment-free zone; I am looking forward to answering all your burning VoceVista how-to questions from a studio teacher’s perspective. I aim to move you from tech-hesitant to tech-enthusiastic before you jump into any additional acoustics scaffolding concepts.

So, who are ‘the voiceless’? Join William Leigh-Knight as he unpicks this question and considers the purpose of training a voice, when it is considered such a natural human attribute, and he expands on the principles that drive his own practice, which may be summarised as ‘person-centeredness’
