In this practical class, Chris will take you through the process that is at the core of his teaching approach: resonance.
Specifically, how he's adapted speech techniques to be appropriate to CCM singing training, and how sensation is an organiser of the vocal tract.
This will even call into play the misunderstood, and unnecessarily slated, sense of ‘placement’, which can have an important role to play if it’s used in the right way.
Dovetailing with other resonance strategies, like twang for example, this workshop will give you an understanding and process by which to exploit this extremely important form of singing support.
