Lauren Kilgore is a passionate music educator, conductor, performer, and vocal coach with extensive experience in choral directing, private voice instruction, and clinician work. Based in the St. Louis area, she serves as a private voice coach and Associate Director of the internationally recognized chorus Visions of Harmony, while also coaching singers, quartets, and ensembles throughout the barbershop community, including organizations within SingUnited International (Sweet Adelines International), Harmony, Inc., and the Barbershop Harmony Society.
Her work spans classroom music education, theatrical direction, adjudication, and private vocal instruction, with a particular passion for helping singers cultivate healthy, expressive, and musically confident voices. Lauren has served multiple school districts throughout her teaching career and continues to work extensively with students and ensembles of varying ages and experience levels as a clinician and educator.
Lauren is a member of the American Choral Directors Association and the National Association for Music Education. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Vocal Music Education from Northwest Missouri State University and her Master of Music Education from University of Missouri–St. Louis. She remains committed to continued professional growth through ongoing study and advanced development opportunities in vocal pedagogy, choral music, and the barbershop community.
