Liz Johnson is a Nashville based vocologist/voice teacher and jazz musician. She is a veteran performer and educator of over 20 years, holding appointments as jazz faculty at places like Vanderbilt's Blair School of Music and the Nashville Jazz Workshop. Liz has a BM in Psychology and Mental Health Work from the University of Illinois, an MM in Vocal Performance from Belmont University, is a NCVS trained vocologist, and has earned the PAVA-RV (PAVA Recognized Vocologist). She also serves on the NCVS Board of Directors, and co-edited the book Sing and Shout for Health: Scientific Insights and Future Directions for Vocology with Dr. Ingo Titze.
