The Integration Of A Science-Informed Approach To The Application Of Teaching Singing

This workshop focuses on practical application and is based on Kari’s recent book Systematic Approach to Voice: The Art of Studio Application” published by Plural Publishing.

It looks at working with techniques with three key singers.

There will be an opportunity to observe, ask questions and develop pedagogically.

The workshop is ideal for those who wish to develop their practical application.

The workshop will take the following format:

5:00pm-5:15pm welcome and introduction

5:15pm-5:45pm Singer #1 (Female Classical) to demonstrate a specific protocol

5.45-6:15 Singer #2 (Music Theatre-emphasis on female belt aesthetic)

6:15pm-6:45pm Singer #3 Singer with injury/pathology

6.45pm – Q&A time

All sessions are recorded and will be sent out to all registered participants.
