Debbie Winter’s Research to be Featured in Routledge’s Upcoming Book on Voice Studies

Wednesday 26th June 2024

We’re thrilled to announce that two of Debbie Winter’s (Director of Voice Study Centre) articles will be featured in a new book published by Routledge Press. The articles, originally published in the Voice and Speech Review (VSR), are titled Voicing a Practitioner Research Methodology: Further Framing the Conversation and Exploring the Narrative: Voice Practitioner Research and the Literature Review Process.

Every year Routledge Press publishes a few ‘special collections’ books, and this year they have selected articles from the VSR for one of them. We are excited that they have chosen to include Debbie’s VSR articles to be chapters in their new book, Practitioner Research in Voice Studies. This book aims to provide valuable resources for performing arts graduate programs and to broaden the accessibility of pioneering research in voice studies.

Title: Practitioner Research in Voice Studies (London: Routledge, 2025)

Planned Publication Date: Early 2025
