We are pleased to announce that Voice Study Centre lecturer, Louisa Morgan will present a workshop at the 15th Congress of the PEVOC (PanEuropean Voice Conference); to be held in Santander between Wednesday 4 and Saturday 7, September 2024.

Louisa Morgan
Louisa Morgan is a lecturer, voice teacher and researcher, with a special focus on spoken and sung emotion. Louisa lectures with Voice Study Centre (spoken voice lead). Previously, Louisa taught technical singing for the MA/MFA Musical Theatre students at the Guilford School of Acting (GSA) and Italia Conti, and she was also a spoken and singing voice coach for the Acting students at the Cygnet Training Theatre.

Wednesday 7th October 2026Yesterday, Voice Study Centre hosted Lynn Helding, Professor of Practice in Vocal Arts and Opera and Coordinator of Vocology and Voice Pedagogy at the USC Thornton School of Music. Her presentation was a compelling exploration into the relationship between voice science and vocal art. Titled "Inspired Not Bound: The Promise of Science-Informed Voice Pedagogy," the session tackled a question that has lingered for over 170 years: If voice science is so rich and transformative, why hasn't it been more fully adopted across all voice studios?
