Lessac Kinesensics: Explore and Play !

Thursday 22nd January 2026, 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM (London Time)

Lessac Kinesensics is a somatic, bodyminded approach that aims to contribute to effective human behaviour and communication within given context(s). Essentially, Kinesensics hones movement and bodyvoice (we deliberately do not refer to voice but bodyvoice to foreground voice because of body), through an embodied sensorial discovery process where the Kinesensics trainer facilitates the learning process of the individual, while acknowledging that the individual is not a passive receiver but a co-facilitator of their own skills acquisition process.  While providing skills and strategies towards effective behaviour and communication through movement and voice-building, Kinesensics also focuses on the carry-over of voice-building to speech and language.

Kinesensics explorations playfully draw from developmental, and therefore sub-conscious, movement and bodyvoice patterns, acknowledging not only a ‘human-likeness’ but also a ‘personal uniqueness’ that honours the effects of the outer environmental influences on the inner environment of the individual. Through a ‘sensing and feeling process’ of discovery, the sub-conscious ‘familiar events’ become conscious and form the bedrock of what are referred to as Body and Voice ‘NRG’ (energies or Neuro-Regenerative Growth) strategies.

Pedagogically, Kinesensics relies on an embodied sensorial process where the learner, while exploring with a childlike curiosity, maintains agency. This agency is referred to as the ‘teacher within’. Once comfortable with the conscious navigations of the Kinesensic explorations and applications the ‘teacher-within’ becomes the primary facilitator balancing objective potentialities with the subjective sense of self as they journey towards excellence.

Kinesensic training engages with a process of ‘sensation, perception awareness and response’ (SPAR) where the intersect between object and subject is present in the reach to the next possible best practice in context.

During this workshop key aspects of Kinesensics, such as dynamic alignment and breath, pain relievers and relaxer energisers, Body and Vocal NRGs will be explored with childlike curiosity.

After completion of this workshop, the participants should have gained introductory information about Lessac Kinesensics.
