Lori L. Engler is a Certified Teacher of Knight-Thompson Speechwork, dialect coach, and actor based in Orlando, Florida. She enjoys collaborating with actors and directors to bring authenticity and depth of character to theatrical storytelling through the exploration of speech and accents. Lori has coached projects for Orlando Shakespeare Theatre, Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre, Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre, Garden Theatre, Des Moines Playhouse, The Henegar Center, Theatre Winter Haven, Venice Theatre, Ocala Civic Theatre, Ritz Theater Sanford, Theatre South Playhouse, Lake Highland Preparatory School, Florida Southern College, and Polk State College.

Select coaching credits include: Murder On the Orient Express, Titanic: the Musical, Dracula, It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play, Underneath the Lintel, Diana: the Musical, Jersey Boys, Bright Star, and the world premiere of Paper Thin.

Lori holds a B.A. in Communication Arts from Ursinus College and is a member of the Voice and Speech Trainers Association, Educational Theatre Association, and American Association of Community Theatre.
