Dr. Jane Clukey, mezzo soprano, is an active performer and teacher of classical and commercial singing styles from Maine, USA. She appears frequently throughout Maine as a presenter, adjudicator, lecturer, music director, and workshop facilitator.

Dr. Clukey received her Doctor of Musical Arts from Shenandoah Conservatory, her Master of Music from the University of North Texas, and her Bachelor of Music from the University of Southern Maine. In 2022, she successfully defended her dissertation “A Voice Teacher’s Guide to Temporomandibular Disorders in Singers” and in 2017 presented her research “Temporomandibular Disorder Symptom Prevalence in University Singers” at the 46th Annual Voice Foundation Symposium: The Care of the Professional Voice.

An accomplished songwriter, Dr. Clukey has shared compositions at festivals and concerts throughout Maine. She also regularly performs with the Studio Theatre of Bath, and as "Christine McVie" in Crystal Vision, a Fleetwood Mac tribute band.

Dr. Clukey is the Director of Music Education at the Chocolate Church Arts Center in Bath, ME, where she teaches private voice lessons. Her students are regularly recognized for their technical skills and artistry in vocal competitions and auditions. She was an adjunct professor and vocal director at University of New England 2020-2024. She is the co-founder and director of The Complete Voice, a young artist summer program, a member of the Maine Chapter of the National Association of Teachers of Singing and Opera on Tap Maine, and sits on the board of the Studio Theatre of Bath.
