Teresa has focused on the voice throughout her career. She completed her undergraduate degree in music at Manchester University, her Advanced Diploma in vocal performance at the Royal Academy of Music, and recently completed her MA in Vocal Pedagogy with Voice Study Centre.
A passionate educator, she has taught in all settings from primary schools through to university, and as a result has developed an abiding research interest in Music Performance Anxiety. Her research on this subject has recently been published in Frontiers in Psychology, the result of a collaboration with Dr. David Juncos.
Teresa was trained in classical voice and had an international career as a performer, appearing as a soloist with the English National Opera, Opera North, BBC Symphony Orchestra, The London Sinfonietta and the Berlin Symphony Orchestra.
