Alumna Brunella Govetto Writes for Inspire the Mind on Singing and Motherhood

Voice Study Centre alumna Brunella Govetto has written a new article for the Inspire the Mind blog, drawing on some of the work from her thesis and her experience of working with singing and mothers.
In ‘Finding Her Voice: The Science of Singing in Motherhood’, Brunella explores the role singing can play during the transition to motherhood, considering themes including maternal identity and wellbeing, community, and the relationship between mother and baby.
The article brings together Brunella’s research and experience to offer an accessible exploration of singing and motherhood for a wider audience.

Brunella Govetto has been training in performing arts since a young age, specialising in Musical Theatre at the Associated Studios of London. She has performed as a professional singer in theatre and TV, travelling between the UK and Europe.
