Meet the New MA Voice Pedagogy Cohort | Jennie Such

Wednesday 29th April 2026

As MA Voice Pedagogy Cohort E4 begins, we’re delighted to introduce some of the talented professionals joining our learning community from around the world.

Among those joining us is Jennie Such, an experienced performer, teacher and vocal coach whose career spans performance, higher education and professional theatre.

Jennie graduated with a BMus with Honours in Performance (Voice) from the University of Western Ontario and later completed Postgraduate Diplomas in Opera and Concert Singing at the Royal College of Music. Her performing career has included work across opera, musical theatre, concert and recital settings, with recordings released through Naxos and CBC Records.

Alongside her performing work, Jennie has developed an impressive career in teaching and coaching. Since 2014, she has been the resident Singing Coach at The Stratford Festival of Canada, where she has coached vocal music in 50 productions. Since 2017, she has been a member of the voice faculty at Wilfrid Laurier University, where she is a voice instructor in classical and contemporary vocal streams.

Jennie is currently writing a new Musical Theatre Intensive course for Wilfrid Laurier University in partnership with Stratford Festival.

Looking ahead, Jennie has also been invited to present a workshop titled What is Crossover? at the Eurovox Voice Conference in Lucerne, Switzerland this August.

Jennie’s professional journey reflects something we see often within our MA community: experienced practitioners who continue to seek new ideas, deepen their knowledge and further develop their practice.

We are delighted to welcome Jennie to Voice Study Centre and look forward to supporting the next stage of her journey.

You can view Jennie’s full profile below.
