MA Voice Pedagogy student Emily DenBleyker presents at NATS India Chapter Online Conference

Monday 16th October 2023

It gives us great pleasure to announce that current MA Voice Pedagogy student Emily DenBleyker presented a paper at the recent NATS India Chapter Online Conference ’Strength in Diversity: Singing for All’ on 14th and 15th October 2023.

Emily’s presentation paper – Lessons from group singing research: a three-pronged approach for creating a supportive learning environment for adult beginning singers in the private voice studio – is based on the research she carried out for her Module 1 paper during her MA degree course. The paper examines current group singing research while proposing a fresh approach to support adult beginning singers (ABS) in the private studio and empower teachers to better meet the needs of singers of all levels.

Congratulations, Emily!

Emily DenBleyker
