MA student Adléta Hanžlová selected for the Young Professionals Program at Eurovox!

Thursday 14th May 2026

Congratulations to our MA Voice Pedagogy student Adléta Hanžlová, who has been selected to participate in the Young Professionals Program at Eurovox in Lucerne.

Here's what Adléta has to say about this wonderful achievement:

Informed by its mission to foster collaboration and exchange of knowledge in the ever-growing voice field, EVTA has transformed its Young Professionals Programme (YPP), focusing on young voice teachers. I am very grateful to have been selected as one of the 10 participants in the programme at Eurovox in Lucerne this August.

Community and interdisciplinary collaboration have always been in the front of my mind when it comes to voice pedagogy. I have come to teaching voice mainly from a voice science background, having completed a Bachelor's and Master's degree in phonetics at the Institute of Phonetics in Prague. I am currently pursuing a PhD at the same institution, focusing on research in singing voice timbre. Last September, I have enrolled in the Voice Pedagogy MA with the Voice Study Centre, which has been and is continuing to be an amazing source of knowledge and inspiration. I have always been fascinated by the human voice and its expressive potential and through these opportunities, I have started to connect theoretical knowledge with practical experience in developing research-informed teaching strategies.

Through participating in the YPP at Eurovox, I am eager to further develop my teaching skills and identity as an ever-learning, research-informed voice teacher within an international professional community, allowing me to serve as a more effective teacher and communicator. I hope to contribute curiosity, openness, and an interdisciplinary perspective shaped by my engagement with both artistic and scientific approaches to the voice. I believe YPP participation will help me in becoming an active member of the international voice pedagogy community and building collaborations that extend beyond the conference itself. And, additionally, I am excited to hopefully meet some of my fellow Voice Study Centre MA students in person in Lucerne!
