Regina McAllen is an award-winning musical director, voice teacher, pianist, choral conductor, and educator. Originally from the Yukon Territory in Canada, she grew up immersed in both classical training and the spirited traditions of vaudeville and ragtime. She later studied piano performance at the Vienna Conservatory in Austria, followed by degrees in Piano Pedagogy, Piano Performance, and Music Education from Westminster Choir College in Princeton, New Jersey, where she performed with Leonard Bernstein, Luciano Pavarotti, and the New York and Philadelphia Philharmonic Orchestras.

Internationally touring jazz singer Dr. Tish Oney has sung as soloist with Detroit Symphony, Williamsburg Symphony, Symphoria, Rochester Philharmonic, Aiken Symphony, Spartanburg Philharmonic, North Carolina Baroque Orchestra, U.S. Army Jazz Ambassadors, Army Blues, and Army Voices. Oney tours as a Blujazz recording artist with five albums to her credit. Oney’s vast experience as a jazz singer / recording artist while teaching thousands of students in multi-genre singing at USC, SU, and USC Upstate, among other institutions, led to her authoring the critically acclaimed, definitive guide to teaching jazz voice: Jazz Singing: A Guide to Pedagogy and Performance (Bloomsbury, 2022) which has been lauded by The Journal of Singing and professional singers worldwide.

Dr. Autumn A. Griffin is an Assistant Professor of Urban Education at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a 2025 Spencer Postdoctoral Fellow. Her scholarship sits at the intersection of Black girlhood studies, critical media literacies, and liberatory pedagogies, with particular attention to how Black cultural traditions offer new visions for education.

The German soprano, Tanya Aspelmeier, studied singing (lied, oratorio and opera) at the Musikhochschule in Hamburg, where she completed her concert exam and opera diploma with distinction, accompanied by the the Hamburg Symphonic Orchestra

She has taught at the Bremen University of the Arts, the Hamburg Conservatory and the Hamburg University of Music and Theater and was appointed professor of singing at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna in 2018.

Vittorio Tantucci is Senior Lecturer in Linguistics at Lancaster University and world-leading scholar in the field of Pragmatics, the study of verbal behaviour in context. With experience directing and performing in over 70 musical theater productions, she has been recognized for her work as a pianist, conductor, and musical director.Her research bridges the art and science of voice, informing both performance practice and clinical applications. This expertise has also made her a sought-after expert witness in forensic voice analysis.

Annie Morrison, creator of the Morrison Bone Prop, has worked for over 40 years as a voice and speech therapist and teacher. She studied voice in performance at the Central School of Speech and Drama and has taught in London drama schools including Rose Bruford, Guildhall School of Music & Drama and the Guildford School of Acting where she was Head of Voice. She teaches at RADA and is a visiting lecturer on several BA & MA Acting courses, as well as the MA Voice Studies course at the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama.

Tuuli Nilsson is an internationally experienced and certified voice, speech, and body trainer. For over 20 years, she has studied some of the world’s most renowned voice and body methods, and she holds teacher certifications in the Alexander Technique (from ACAT), Linklater Voice®, Fitzmaurice Voicework®, and Miller Voice Method™. She teaches voice and speech at the Theatre Academy of the University of the Arts, Helsinki (TEAK).

Kathryn Cunningham is an Assistant Professor of Theatre at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She is a certified teacher of Knight-Thompson Speechwork and a PAVA Recognized Vocologist (PAVA-RV). As an actor, she has appeared on a host of stages in New York and across the country as well as in film and television.

Dr. Sri Nandamudi is an Associate Professor in Speech-Language Pathology in the College of Health Professions, Grand Valley State University. Her areas of clinical and pedagogical research interests include interprofessional collaborative care and clinical simulation in voice and dysphagia intervention. 

Dr. Justin John Moniz serves as Associate Director of Vocal Performance and Coordinator of Vocal Pedagogy at New York University’s (NYU) Steinhardt School where he holds the rank of Associate Professor. Moniz is also a member of the Vocal Arts Faculty at Manhattan School of Music where he teaches vocal wellness and physiology

Ella is a lecturer in linguistics at the University of Essex where she teaches on modules in the field of sociolinguistics. Ella’s main research focus is on children's developing awareness and attitudes towards different regional accents in the UK. She also works on topics of language and identity, language ideology and heritage language maintenance.

Nina Markl is a Research Fellow at the Institute for Analytics and Data Science and the Department of Language and Linguistics at the University of Essex. She works at the intersection of sociolinguistics, speech technologies and AI ethics.  She is particularly interested in language variation and change and the impact of speech technologies on speech communities. More broadly, she is interested in understanding the socio-technical contexts and impacts of computing technologies, in particular machine learning and "artificial intelligence".

Dr. Sunny Sandhu, also known by his artistic name Bhoomitra (“Friend of Earth”), is a doctor, musician, and environmental activist dedicated to exploring the healing power of sound and its connection with nature. Originally from Punjab, India, he graduated in medicine from AIIMS, New Delhi, and was deeply influenced by Dr. R.K. Bijlani’s research on yoga and physiology. His musical path led him to the ancient vocal art of Dhrupad, which he studied under Ustad Asad Ali Khan, discovering its profound therapeutic dimension.

Dr Calvin Peter Baker is a Research Fellow and Lecturer at the University of Auckland, working between Speech Science (School of Psychology) and the School of Music (Voice discipline). He completed a Bachelor of Music in classical voice performance and has first-class honours and master's degrees in the specialisation of studio pedagogy. Calvin conducted his interdisciplinary doctoral research (PhD, Speech Science) at the University of Auckland.

Prof Conroy Cupido completed a BMus at Stellenbosch University, an MMus and Artist Certificate at Southern Methodist University (Dallas, Texas), and became the first South African to earn a Doctorate in Vocal Performance from the University of North Texas (2009). In 2024, he obtained an MA in Positive Psychology from North-West University with distinction.

Maddie Tarbox is an evolutionary vocal coach, performer, and founder of Maddie Tarbox Vocal Studio. She combines evidence-informed voice science with movement, gesture, and evolutionary vocal practices to help contemporary singers and teachers access freer, more resilient, and expressive vocal production for themselves and their clients.

Cathrine Hopkins is a South African performer, musical director, and vocal pedagogue with an extensive background in musical theatre and voice education. She holds a BA (cum laude) in Musical Theatre from the Tshwane University of Technology and is currently completing an MA in Vocal Pedagogy through the Voice Study Centre (London) in partnership with the University of Wales Trinity Saint David.
